ここまで動いた。
ローカルでの確認。

問題なく実行できた。
WSL2のGitのバージョンが古くて(2.25.1)デフォルトブランチを変更できないのでバージョンアップする。
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:git-core/ppa
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt upgrade
$ git --version
git version 2.33.0
できたできた。
